Hello Theatre Boosters!
I have just been made aware of an opportunity to raise some funds for the Theatre Boosters.
This Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, Joe Cotton Ford will be at Glenbard North hosting a test drive fundraiser. For each test drive that anyone goes on, Joe Cotton Ford will donate $$$ to Glenbard North. Assistant Principal Deb Cartwright has asked both the Music Boosters and the Theater Boosters to provide adult volunteers to help sign up drivers to test drive the vehicles. The bulk of the money raised will go to Post-Prom, but because the Music & Theater Boosters will be helping, each organization will also receive some funding, up to $1,000!!
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you can help. I will be in contact with Mrs. Cartwright tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) to let her know how many of you awesome people are willing to help. Between the Theater Boosters and the Music Boosters we are looking for 10 people to help for the 4-hour event. If there are 20 people we can split the time into 2-hour slots.
President, Glenbard North Theatre Boosters
With the school year beginning to wind down, our work is far from complete. There is work left to be done for this year and some important work to do for the next school year.
This is a critical time to begin planning for next year. During our meeting this Monday, April 17th at 6:30pm, we are requesting all returning parents to attend. There are important board positions to fill. These positions include President, Vice President and Fundraiser Chair.
Also, we will be voting for senior scholarship winners, so we need non-senior parents to read the essays and vote for their favorites.
The Theatre Boosters have done some great things for the Glenbard North Theatre and if we finish this school year strong, that can continue into the next school year.
Thank you and I hope to see a big turnout Monday evening. If you cannot make the meeting but would like to get involved next year please either call me at 630-699-4997 or email at email@example.com.
P.S. Our last meeting of this year will be May 15th if you cannot make tonights meeting.
