1/31/22 Booster Board Meeting Minutes

Glenbard North Theatre Boosters Meeting – January 31, 2022 – 6:00 PM

Present: Mary Ellen Graf, Christine Housour, Violeta Paunova, Nathan King, Chris McHenry, Christine Torres, Ronnie Bakir

President Report – Mary Ellen

Minutes of December 6, 2021 approved – motion made by Christine Housour, seconded by Chris Henry, unanimously passed
Will change time of board meetings to 6:00 PM

Faculty Report – Mr. King

Auditions for studio play and musical were held – 83 students came out, typically have 110-130 for the musical
No longer doing winter play
Next year will be just 2 plays per semester
Brunch dates: March 5, April 23 – will get us numbers of students attending
Theatrefest canceled and we are no longer paying for Ruby
Mrs. Orlin is directing the musical – looking for financial support from Boosters – estimated costs of $3000 for costume rental and $2000 for lighting rental – will get firmer costs for next meeting
Women of Troy: March 10, 11, 12;

- Mary Ellen will check Paypal for payment from new member
- Membership received on January 25 – will accept child’s eligibility for scholarship
Fundraising – Ronnie
- Proceeds from Texas Roadhouse – $23
- February – Village Tavern
- March 21st – 5-8PM – Chick-fil-A
- April – TBD
- May 4th – Culvers? Last day of strike for musical
Brunch/Concessions – Ronnie
- No report
Scholarships – Christine Torres
- Due date is March 1st.
- Need results by April 1st.
- Awards Night is April 20th – 7-9 PM.
